About
The ban on education and closure of schools for girls by the Taliban has left many young women fearing the future. Education impacts society, drives innovation and brings opportunities- we want to give Afghan girls the future they deserve.
Vision
AFGN is set up to bridge the gap for young women to access education without the need to attend schools. The virtual schools will provide an online curriculum to help girls learn skills; to be able continue their educations and be upskilled to apply for opportunities remotely too. Taliban banned schools but we live in a modern world, the classroom no longer needs to be a room with 4 walls.
Make a Social Impact
We plan to upload educational material on IT devices, ship and distribute these to the Afghan girls through our community of Afghans on the ground. We need your help in doing this. Companies are always upgrading IT devices -is your company upgrading your IT equipment, do you no longer need your device? We will ethically recycle a wide range of IT equipment including iPads. Any donated device will be upcycled with educational material meaning that 0% of material goes to landfills or left unused. Please fill the form and we will get back to you on the device donation process. For any company who donates devices we will also update on the journey and the impact you have made!
